Collins Tile and Stone is a store that has become Lubbock's and the South Plain's superior tile and stone store. This store provides both residential and commercial tile and stone needs for every project big or small. Walking around Collin's showroom, you will see a wide variety of tile and stone that can create a very unique environment and their sales people are readily available to assist you with any of your questions.
This tile and stone store began in 1984 when Tim Collins and his wife Ava opened this showroom. Although this store began in 1984, Tim and Ava had experience in this industry long before that. When they first began this business, the Collins ran their showroom from out of their garage which is ironic because Collin's Tile and Stone has become one of the most superior tile and stone stores in Lubbock and the South Plains. 1988 marked the date that Tim and Ava finally moved their store out of their garage and moved into their current location at 4715 Clovis Highway. Along with this growth of their business came the need for more equipment to meet the demands. Some of this equipment includes Gravellona Macchine Marmo Bridge Saw which provided more consistent cuts and also increased productivity. Another great investment the Collins made was with the CNC machine which means the Computer Numerical Control Machine. This machine single handedly changed the way this company fabricated and produced their stone. This machine helps to automatically produce intricate shapes with increased accuracy and speed compared to other hand methods. Another investment Collin's Tile and Stone has made is the straight Line Polisher.
It is not hard to understand why Collin's Tile and Stone has emerged as one of the premier tile and stone stores in Lubbock and the South Plains. Walking through their showroom you see a wide range of tiles and stones which can meet any of your residential or commercial needs. This store also provides the knowledge and experience that you will ever need in order to complete a project.
